On a cold March night, Kathy and I spent the evening on foal watch.
After joking about expecting a foal at 3am, we went to check. Much to our
surprise, Junior had arrived around 10:30pm! His mom allowed us to towel
dry him, so he could stay warm.
Junior and I started our show career when he was three. Junior tolerated
a year of halter. He didn't find much use for halter. It bored him.
We then started our saddle work. Junior and I had some success at Hunter Pleasure.
Our real goal is to go Western.
Junior has been on a sabbatical for a couple of seasons. We hope to debut in
Western in 2003.
